Once we receive your inquiry, we will contact you within one business day to schedule a phone consultation. Following that, we will arrange an in-person meet-and-greet for a fee of $15.

Our Services
Drop-In Visits
Whether you’re at work, away for the day, or on vacation, our drop-in visits provide personalized care for your pets in the comfort of their own home. Visits can include feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, litter box or habitat cleaning, medication administration (if needed), enrichment, playtime, and plenty of affection. We care for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, small mammals, and other companion animals.
Dog Walking
Our dog walks provide the exercise and mental enrichment your dog needs to stay happy and healthy. Each walk is tailored to your dog’s age, energy level, and personality, with a focus on safe handling, positive interactions, and plenty of time to sniff, explore, and enjoy their surroundings.
Overnight Stays
Our overnight pet sitting service allows your pets to stay comfortable in their familiar home while you’re away. Care includes evening and morning routines, feeding, walks or potty breaks, medication administration (if needed), enrichment, companionship, and attentive overnight care. We treat your home with the utmost respect while caring for your pets as if they were our own.

The Heart Behind Paws for Preservation
Hi, I’m Angelia Valenzi, the founder of Paws for Preservation.
I created Paws for Preservation to combine two of my greatest passions: providing exceptional care for animals and supporting wildlife conservation. My goal is to give pet owners peace of mind while ensuring every animal receives compassionate, knowledgeable, and individualized care.
I am currently a second-year Biology student at Northern Essex Community College, where I am building a foundation for a career in wildlife biology and conservation. Alongside my studies, I have gained experience in veterinary medicine, avian husbandry, wildlife rehabilitation, and field research.
My background includes working as a veterinary assistant, caring for birds and exotic animals, participating in wildlife conservation projects, and conducting field research abroad! These experiences have strengthened my understanding of animal behavior, health, and welfare across a wide range of species.
At Paws for Preservation, I bring that same level of professionalism and attention to every pet I care for. Whether I’m caring for a dog, cat, bird, reptile, or other exotic companion, I strive to provide a safe, enriching, and low-stress experience while maintaining clear communication with every client!
